TECHNICAL SUPPORT QUESTIONS

I AM SEEING A NUROFEN COMMERCIAL or simply a black screen. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

  • This means that the channel is currently off or unavailable. This could be due to a maintenance restart to ensure great streaming or a small complication from our TV provider. If you see this on the Nova channels, please note that Nova is only available during LIVE games and not available 24 hours a day. If the Nurofen commercial persists, report a channel problem, contact us, or email us at info@gogreektv.com.

I am currently using the web player but i do not have sound on some of the channels. what can i do?

  • Please try a different browser. Issues can appear with Google Chrome, however Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge work well. If the issue persists, request access via VLC player by contacting us here or by emailing us at info@gogreektv.com.

Can i use a vpn connection with my subscription?

  • For security reasons, our service are not available with a VPN internet connection.

MY LOG-IN INFORMATION IS NOT WORKING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • Please make sure you have entered all the information exactly as it is listed in your email. Both the username and password are case sensitive and should always be entered with lower-case letters.

I WAS WATCHING A SPORTING EVENT AND THE CHANNEL STOPPED WORKING? CAN I WATCH MY SPORTING EVENT ON ANOTHER CHANNEL?

  • Typically, major Greek sporting events are closely monitored for issues. We understand the importance of watching Greek sports with your premium subscription. If you are watching a game on Nova, please try the other Nova channels to see if your desired game is being played there (as a backup), or check the channels Sports Live Games and Sports Live Games 2 for your desired game. These two channels serve as sport backup channels. Finally, check your Greek Sporting TV listings document provided by Go Greek TV to see other channel options for your desired game. You can find this in your original email with your access details.

SOME OF MY CHANNELS ARE FREEZING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • With IPTV, streaming issues can always arise, however Go Greek TV ensures that freezing will be kept at a minimum. If you encounter freezing on the majority of your channels, please check your internet connection. A slow internet connection can cause this issue. If only a few channels are freezing follow these steps:

    • First, change to another channel and then change back to your desired channel, this will refresh/reset your previous channels.

    • If this does not work, log out of your device and log back into the device to access your desired channel.

    • If your freezing issues persist, contact us here, email us at info@gogreektv.com, or via Live Chat. We will work with our TV provider to resolve your issue.

I AM USING THE GSE SMART IPTV APP ON MY APPLE TV AND I SEE A WATERMARK LOGO ON MY SCREEN SAYING “UNLOCK.” WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • If you see the “Unlock” watermark logo on the GSE Smart IPTV App with your Apple TV, you have downloaded the free version of the app. Please download the PRO version of the app and the watermark will be removed.

I AM WATCHING MY SUBSCRIPTION ON THE SMART IPTV APP AND SOMETIMES THE SOUNDS GOES OFF WHILE WATCHING A CHANNEL? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • This can occur on a few occasions as the channels reset to ensure high-quality streaming. Simply change to another channel and back to your desired channel, and the sound should reappear.

i can’t find the smart iptv app on my AMAZON firestick/fire tv. how can i download it?

  • If your Firestick/Fire TV does not have the Smart IPTV App, view this video up until the 1:15 mark and then watch this video from start to finish to download the app. The MAC address should appear on the final step.

i WAS accessing my subscription on my smart iptv app, but now i see the mac address screen again AND IT ASKS ME TO REUPLOAD MY PLAYLIST. what should i do?

  • For first-time Smart IPTV App user, the app (operated by a third party) has a 7-day free trial period. After the 7-days, the app will require a one-time purchase of roughly six euros to have permanent access to this app. This could be the main reason why you are seeing the MAC address screen. You can pay this one-time fee on the app directly or by following this link and purchasing online. Please contact us or email us at info@gogreektv.com to reconnect your subscription.

GENERAL INFORMATION/SALES QUESTIONS

MY SMART TV DOESN’T HAVE AN APP STORE OR THE SMART IPTV APP. CAN I STILL ACCESS GO GREEK TV?

  • If your Smart TV has an App store, but does not have the Smart IPTV App, please contact us or email us at info@gogreektv.com and we can look into an alternative app to connect you to GoGreek TV.

  • If your Smart TV does not have an App Store, you can purchase an Apple TV or Amazon Firestick/Fire TV to access a GoGreek TV subscription.

HOW MANY DEVICES CAN I USE AT ONE TIME?

  • Only one device can be used at a moment in time. If you would like to switch devices (example from your computer to your phone), please log off your subscription on your computer before accessing your subscription on your phone.

  • If you would like to access your subscription on an additional device at the same moment in time, please contact us or email us at info@gogreektv.com and we will provide more details on how to do this. A second subscription will be needed, however it will only cost half the price.

WHAT SPORTING BROADCASTS DOES THE PREMIUM PACKAGE SUPPORT?

  • With Premium package, you will NOT miss a beat in the sporting world. Coverage includes all Greek national teams (football, basketball, water polo, volleyball, etc). the Super League, Greek Football Cup, Greek teams in European competitions, Basket League, EuroLeague, FIBA Champions League, Tennis, and much more.

    • Please note that we also offer our Premium package as a day pass with 1-day, 2-day, 3-day, and 7-day pass option. This is a great option for those customers that do not want to purchase a whole month subscription, but still can obtain access to watch their desired sporting event. Some matches are also available under our Single Game Viewing option.

DOES GO GREEK TV OFFER AN ON-DEMAND SERVICE?

  • We currently do not have an on-demand service, however, will be looking to add one in the future. We do, however, have multiple time-delay channels, which play certain channels on a 7-hour delay to line up with the EST time zone (New York/Toronto).

  • Sooner rather than later, we are looking to add an on demand service for major Greek sporting events, mainly the ones offered by our Single Game Viewing options (Ethniki, Super League derbies, etc.).

  • We have many movies and series on demand that are frequently updated by our TV provider. We hope to expand this section as well.

DO YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS OFFER INTERNATIONAL CHANNELS?

Yes, we do offer international channels that come with Greek subtitles. We do not, however, offer local channels.
